Frequently Asked Questions
Attendance at our nursery in Water's Edge can be shaped around your family — up to FS1, children may attend 2, 3, or 5 days per week. From FS1 onwards, five days is highly recommended to provide the uninterrupted rhythm that underpins strong EYFS progression at this stage of development.
Joining the Blossom community at Water's Edge starts with a visit. We encourage every family to come in, see the spaces, and meet the people who will be part of their child's day — it's the most direct way to understand our EYFS approach and Sustainable Education ethos in action.
Our admissions team will then arrange a personalised consultation to discuss your child's needs, temperament, and your schedule. When you're ready to enrol, you'll submit an online registration form alongside the required documents (Emirates IDs, passports, visas, vaccination records, and birth certificate), select your attendance days, and choose a payment plan — monthly, per term, or annually.
A welcome pack with settling-in details and LittleLives app access will be set up ahead of your child's start date, and their key educator stays in close contact with you from the beginning.
Babies (45 days to 1 year) – We welcome babies from just 45 days old into calm, sensory-rich environments that reflect the warmth and predictability of home. Every element of our baby programme is shaped by responsive, attachment-led care — supporting brain development through secure, consistent relationships.
Toddlers (1 to 3 years) – Our EYFS-informed toddler spaces invite movement, curiosity, and early independence. Play-based learning drives motor development, early communication, and the beginnings of meaningful social connection.
Preschoolers (3 to 4 years) – At Blossom Water's Edge, our preschool welcomes children up to 4 years old. Our Sustainable Education approach comes alive through project-based learning that builds literacy, numeracy, and the genuine confidence children need heading into FS2 across any international curriculum.
