CACHE Level 1 Award in Caring for Children

The Level 1 Award in Caring for Children fosters an understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary for the care of young children.

Why This Course Matters

The program is built on the belief that every child has rights and deserves freedom and emotional security. This certification offers a holistic approach to child development, encouraging trust, empathy, and positive learning experiences.

Requirements

This course is suitable for parents, childcare development center assistants, and nannies or those looking to enter the profession. Learners should be at least 14 years old.

Classes

Learners will have the choice to participate in the sessions either online or in person.

Assessment Methods

You will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include tasks such as designing charts or leaflets, coursework or methods such as oral questioning.

What can I do after this course?

Upon achieving this qualification, learners can advance into roles such as teaching assistant or explore preschool education opportunities.

CACHE Level 2 Certificate in
Introducing Caring for Children and Young People

The Level 2 Certificate is designed for individuals aspiring to become teaching assistants in nurseries or Early Years centres. This certification provides comprehensive knowledge about child development, the importance of play, strategies for supporting children’s learning experiences, and a wide range of other relevant topics.

Why This Course Matters

The program values each child’s unique needs and promotes respectful, responsive relationships. Educators support autonomy and emotional security through meaningful interactions and inclusive early childhood practices.

Requirements

There are no entry requirements. Learners must be at least 16 years old.

Classes

Learners will have the choice to participate in the sessions either online or in person.

Assessment Methods

All units covered during the course will be internally assessed using a range of methods. This will include a portfolio of evidence, written assignments, or practical tasks.

Learners need to have access to a laptop and Internet.

What can I do after this course?

Upon achievement of this qualification, graduates can work as teaching assistants in nurseries, supporting educators in delivering structured learning experiences.

CACHE Level 3 Award for Early Years
Workforce (Early Years Educator)

The Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce, also known as the Early Years Educator qualification, equips learners with the necessary skills to become Early Years Educators. This qualification enables individuals to work with children from birth to 5 years old and provides them with knowledge extending up to children aged 7 years.

Why This Course Matters

Built on sustainable early childhood education and informed by neuroscience, this program equips educators to observe, reflect, and respond with intention. It supports every child’s development with empathy, structure, and self-expression.

Requirements

Learners must have a relevant Level 2 qualification or have been working in an Early Years setting for a minimum of 2 years.

Classes

Learners will have the choice to participate in the sessions either online or in person.

Assessment Methods

Learners will need to be working or volunteering in a practical placement in an under 5’s setting over the course duration. Specified hours must be completed (350 Hours).
All units covered during the course will be internally assessed using a range of methods. This will include direct observation within the workplace, evidence, written assignments, and a longitudinal study. 
Learners need to have access to a laptop and Internet.

What can I do after this course?

Upon achievement of this qualification, learners will be qualified as Early Years Educators and can access roles such as:

Practitioner in a nursery 
Early Years Teaching Assistant
Pre-KG or FS1 Educator

 

CACHE Level 4 Award for Special
Education Need Co-ordinators in Early Years Settings

This qualification is designed for Level 3 practitioners who wish to transition into the role of Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO).
This program will equip learners with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities and duties of a SENCO. It will also provide them with effective strategies and techniques for supporting children with special educational needs and their families.

Why This Course Matters

This course prepares future SENCOs to champion equity in education, using a holistic, rights-based approach that supports every child’s development and full participation in an inclusive, compassionate learning environment.

Requirements

Learners must have a relevant Cache Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.

Classes

Learners will have the choice to participate in the sessions either online or in person.

Assessment Methods

Portfolio of evidence and written assignments.

What can I do after this course?

Graduates will be qualified to work as SENCOs in Early Years settings, leading inclusive practices and collaborating with educators, families, and support services. This diploma also opens pathways to advanced study in inclusive education, child psychology, and early intervention leadership. SENCOs are vital in creating safe, inclusive environments where every child feels supported and empowered to thrive.

CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and
Children and Young People's Services

The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (England) with a focus on Children and Young People's Management equips individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage practice and lead others in the field of children and young people's services.

Why This Course Matters

This diploma equips professionals to lead with integrity, prioritizing children’s rights, wellbeing, and learning. It explores purpose-driven, inclusive, and sustainable leadership tailored to the real-world demands of Early Years settings.

Requirements

Learners must have a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent and hold a managerial role in an early childhood centre. Typically, learners have 3–5 years of experience in Early Years education.

Classes

Learners will have the choice to participate in the sessions either online or in person.

Assessment Methods

All units covered during the course will be internally assessed using a range of methods. This will include direct observation within the workplace, undertaking a research project and written assignments. 
Learners must have access to a laptop and Internet. 
Learners will need to be working in an under 5’s setting over the course duration.

What can I do after this course?

Upon completion, learners will be qualified to work as:

Nursery Managers
Early Years Academic Coordinator
Education Consultant

Learners  may also have the opportunity to progress to a degree in a related discipline.

Meet Our Team

ZAINA SHIHABI
IMT Assessor & Tutor

Zaina Shihabi knew that education was her passion early on in life. Prior to working in education, however, she worked in marketing, events, and later, editorial as the Mother, Baby and Child Magazine Editor. After completing a Masters in Education, a PGCE and a PhD, she enjoyed teaching for several years before moving into management.
In addition to her other degrees in education, Zaina also holds a Cache Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England) (Children and Young People’s Management).

RAWAN JABER
IMT Assessor & Tutor

Rawan Jaber has been in the Field of Education for the past 12 years. Rawan studied Early years Education and started her career as a teacher. After Teaching for several years, Rawan pursued her studies in Education Management and took the roles of Academic Manager, then Nursery Manager and Center Director.
Rawan has completed Cache5 Diploma in Leadership for health and social care and young People's Settings and NCFE course in assessing vocational achievement.

APRIL RODRIGUEZ
IMT Assessor & Tutor

April is a graduate of BS Psychology and worked as an Early Years educator for 11 years. Most of her career life was geared to education which gives her the opportunity to work on different curriculum. She has completed her NCFE Cache Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) and is currently completing her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
April's passion in teaching has brought impact not just in the lives of her students but also in every family. Her goal is to ensure that every child enjoys learning and will develop confidence and resilience all throughout the child's lifespan.

LETITIA PETRIE
IMT Assessor & Tutor

Letitia is a registered Occupational Therapist and completed her Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy at the University of Pretoria, in South Africa, in 2011. She has worked in multiple fields of Occupational Therapy including paediatrics, psychiatry, vocational rehabilitation, physical rehabilitation, and community development before moving to Dubai. She completed her Cache Level 3 Diploma and worked as an early years practitioner and SENCO in different nurseries for the past 10 years.

Letitia now works as an Inclusion Specialist supporting inclusion efforts in early years settings. She believes that each child should have the opportunity to learn and develop to the best of their ability. She is eager to share her knowledge and experience with other passionate professionals seeking to step into or broaden their knowledge and skills in the field of Special Educational Needs.
