Our approach emphasizes childrens character development with particular attention given to early literacy by using the letterland phonics program, daily storytime, word walls and topical curriculum and planning that expose children to books and reading materials. Our children paint, make models, investigate, play games and make puzzles – but are also exposed to the real world around them. This means we recycle, compost, plant seeds and look after our surroundings.

Our Smartbook™ parent interaction program ensures parents are kept informed of activities and learning done whilst at school through emailed newsletters, individual detailed profiles, baseline assessments and reports with parent days. We have an open door policy and parents are frequently invited to attend seminars, school shows and activities. Healthy, hot lunch like Shepards Pie, Chili and Rice, Fish Goujons and  potato  roasties along with homemade soups and fruit and veggie based snacks are all included for children 1 year and above. Children eating together helps them to develop healthy dietary habits and understand the practice of good eating. We teach children about the Balance of Health and the Food Pyramid, serve water and fresh juices and even have our own cooking classes where children make fruit kebabs, fresh pasta and orange juice and pick mangoes and dates from our very own mango and date trees! Rotating menu’s and recipes are given to parents throughout the year with recipes from Annabel Karmel, Jamie Oliver, The Sneaky Chef, and Immunity Foods for Children among many others being used.

Blossom caters to working parents and wants to ensure that children who remain with us all day are getting the best of care available. We have over 60 individual cotbeds and air mattresses at each centre so children can rest comfortably without having to nap on floors. We have a fulltime nurse onsite and staff are pediatric first aid trained. Blossom is open All Year with Peak Academic Nursery from 8-1pm and extended Pick up options of 6pm to 7pm. Earlybird start at 7:30am with Breakfast Express can be added. Skillplay™ afternoons from 3-6pm are teacher led programs that incorporate creative dance, swimming, drama, music, sport, mad science and computers.
