Does Your Child Have Allergies?
Blossom Village are delighted to host Dr Nitin Verma, a UK trained Paediatric Allergist, who has recently joined Kings College Hospital London Clinic in Jumeirah. Dr Nitin will hold a morning/Q&A session with children/parents on ‘Paediatric allergies and its management.
What is an Allergy?
In a child with 'a' allergy, their immune system reacts to substances in the environment that do not bother most people. These substances are known as allergens and are found in house dust mites, pets, pollen, moulds and foods.
A little about the expert:
Having worked in the NHS in the UK for 14 years, the last 4 years as a Paediatric Consultant, Dr Nitin received a Clinical Excellence Award for his role in the development of Paediatric Allergy/ Respiratory service. He is passionate about pediatric allergies and believes it is his social responsibility to share his expertise with the wider public. He was actively involved in the development and running of High fidelity Simulation Training in Paediatrics and Neonates at County Durham and Darlington memorial Trust.
