The Smart Book: Nothing to do with an iPhone
The Blossom Smartbook is a place where a child’s formal nursery record is kept which includes artwork and termly progress reports. At the end of each week, children excitedly show their parents their Smartbook which features selections of artwork done throughout the week accompanied by a brief description of what they learned. The child’s work will represent the current theme which can be found on the planning sheet in every classroom, as well as a description of the activity and will also note “A” (Assisted) or “I” (Individual) to differentiate between work that has done with the teacher’s assistance or by the child independently.
The Blossom Smartbook is a parent-teacher communication tool which serves as a way to continue learning themes at home, contains a record of learning progress based on the EYFS British framework and can be used in your child’s Big School assessment. Last but not least the Blossom Smartbook is a unique keepsake and can be saved for later, why not give it to your child on their 18th birthday?
